we use premium fibre reeds in all honey & me diffuser sets

we chose fibre reeds because they are designed to provide consistent fragrance diffusion through their uniform structure

compared with traditional rattan reeds, fibre reeds are less prone to clogging and may need less frequent flipping

the number of reeds you use will affect both fragrance strength and how quickly the diffuser liquid is used — more reeds give a stronger scent, while fewer reeds can help your diffuser last longer

for a fragrance boost, you can flip the reeds occasionally; frequent flipping will use the liquid faster

when we say ‘clean’, we mean we’ve made deliberate choices about what goes into our candles

our candles use 100% natural coconut & rapeseed wax, natural wooden wicks and carefully screened fragrances that are paraben-free and phthalate-free

we chose these materials after extensive testing and research because we wanted beautiful home fragrance without many of the ingredients we deliberately choose to exclude

our 30cl glass candle has an approximate 220g fill and a tested burn time of 45+ hours when used in accordance with our candle-care instructions

our dog-friendly approach centres on fragrance screening

every fragrance we use is checked against our ingredient exclusion list and we exclude ingredients we’ve identified as toxic to dogs

to be clear, no scented candle — or any other fragranced product — can be guaranteed suitable for every dog

individual dogs can have sensitivities or reactions, just like people can

always introduce a new fragrance gradually, keep the room well ventilated and make sure your dog is free to leave the room if they want to

for the best and safest burn:

• never leave a burning candle unattended

• keep candles away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials

• always place your candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant surface

• keep the wax pool free from matches, wick trimmings and other debris

• once completely cool, remove the burnt/charred tip of the wooden wick before each burn

• on the first burn, allow approximately 3–4 hours for an even melt pool to develop and help prevent tunnelling

• do not move the candle while it is lit or while the wax is liquid

how to use your diffuser:

• place the diffuser upright on a stable surface and use a protective plate or coaster to help protect furniture

• unscrew the cap, remove the cardboard stopper and replace the cap

• carefully insert the reeds into the liquid

• when first setting up the diffuser, allow the reeds to soak for around an hour and then flip them so both ends become saturated

• use fewer reeds for a subtler fragrance or more reeds for a stronger scent

• flip the reeds every 1–2 weeks if you want a fragrance boost; frequent flipping will use the liquid faster

• keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and other heat sources, as well as fans and strong draughts, as these can increase evaporation

safety:

• keep diffuser liquid away from flames and heat

• keep out of reach of children and pets and place where it cannot easily be knocked over

• never swallow diffuser liquid; if consumed, seek immediate medical attention

• avoid contact with skin and eyes

• wash your hands after handling the product or reeds

• never attempt to light the reeds

• avoid contact between diffuser liquid/reeds and furniture, fabrics, painted, polished or finished wood surfaces

• wipe spills immediately and follow the product label for relevant safety information

• dispose of any remaining liquid carefully; do not pour it into the sink or drain
