after long and careful research (testing many different types of waxes and fragrances!), we have chosen the very best to provide clean living using carefully selected, ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients
honey & me candles are made from 100% natural coconut & rapeseed wax that is non-palm, non-soy, non-gm, non-paraffin and additive-free; this natural wax provides a beautiful smooth finish and a strong hot and cold throw
our exquisite fragrances are addictive, once you smell them you won't want anything else in your home!
candles can vary enormously in their wax, fragrance and other ingredients. burning candles that contain wax such as paraffin can release combustion products and airborne compounds including acetaldehyde, benzene, formaldehyde, toluene and acrolein. the amount released can vary depending on the wax, wick, fragrance, additives and how the candle burns. some of these compounds can irritate or affect the respiratory system, particularly at higher levels or where ventilation is poor. when creating honey & me, we wanted to know exactly what we were using in our home, so we deliberately chose coconut & rapeseed wax, natural wood wicks and carefully screened fragrances
our candles and diffusers are fully vegan, with no animal by-products, they are cruelty-free and never tested on animals
our whole range is paraben-free and phthalate-free. parabens are chemicals that are commonly used as preservatives and phthalates are chemicals commonly used in fragrances. both groups of chemicals may have adverse effects, which is why we never use them at honey & me
